CrossFit 


Unified’s CrossFit platform  starts off with a thorough warm-up consisting of dynamic movements to elevate the heart rate and get the blood flowing.  Next is a skill- or strength-based session, followed by the “Workout of the Day” (WOD).  Finally, to close off the class is a group cool down and stretch session. This class is meant for everyone: each workout can be adjusted so that new members can train alongside veteran athletes. The only requirement to attending this class is that each member must have completed the Foundations course or have previous verifiable CrossFit experience to ensure the safety of the athlete  as well as the other participants.
 


  
BURN


Exclusive to UNIFIED, BURN is the class for the athlete looking for a fast-paced, fun workout without the heavy weightlifting. The 60 minute BURN class blends “High Intensity Interval Training” (HIIT) with light weights to “burn” through calories, accelerating fat loss and build lean muscle tone. 
In the Burn class, we don’t use barbells and if you don’t want to pick up heavy weights, no problem! You choose the weight you want to use!  
 


  
RELEASE

Exclusive to Unified, Release is the islands first program that focuses on mobility to improve range of motion in a person’s joints and myofascial release (also known as "trigger point massage").  The first part of this class will focus on warming up the body by with either rowing, cycling or sprints. Once the body is thoroughly warmed up, the second part of this class is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain.  In other words, this class is geared towards helping members loosen up, and get rid of sore muscles, knots and tight joints to prepare for the next day of work and/or workouts. 
 





FOUNDATIONS

CrossFit Foundations is the introductory program for those interested in joining the CrossFit class but do not have previous CrossFit experience. FOUNDATIONS will teach the “Nine Basic Movements” essential to each CrossFit “Workout of the Day” and will focus on making new athletes feel prepared and ready to join the CrossFit class. The class is offered once or twice a month (please refer to the schedule). All new members are invited to attend the BURN and RELEASE classes until they have completed the Foundations course, and/or schedule a private FOUNDATIONS session at their convenience.


 




Open GYM

Love the UNIFIED facility but don't have time for a class? No problem: the gym is open for members to use and for visiting athletes (subject to approval).
 





UNIFIED: ONE

We don't all play nice with others, not all of the time. While UNIFIED programs are designed with community in mind, sometimes meeting your goals means just focusing on you. Whether you’re looking to tone up, lose weight, increase strength, improve technique, prepare for an event, or just prefer a more personal setting, UNIFIED: ONE allows us to design an individually tailored program for quicker and more specific results.
 






UNIFIED Skill
UNIFIED SKILL classes are for your inner perfectionist. Each class will focus in-depth on the chosen movement of the week in stages so that by the end of the week each athlete will be able to complete the movement with efficiency and perfect form. Work smarter, not harder.
 


UNIFIED Kids/Teens
UNIFIED Kids/Teens is a program that steps in where gym class leaves off. This class is designed with the developmental needs of young people in mind and aims to encourage and inspire healthy active lifestyles at a young age while having the most fun possible.
